Here is an old cabin, like I'm staying in and then a brand spanking new ones...
Only 4 of the old cabins are left, in 2004 when I came here the first time there were only old ones!!!
Time for a wake-up call with Pierre...
First turkish coffee with the gang, then a swim in the lake by myself!!!
For dinner tonight we have Chinese, or as Chinese as Chinese it can be here in Camp White Men. But the most fun some of us get out of the meal is the Fortune-cookies, remember these dull words can be refreshed easily by adding "in bed" at the end of the lines of wisdom. Now we're talking, or better laughing. It is Jennifer Spisla, boB Henning and me laughing away at our fortune, then Lisa Spargue joined in and the laughing continued. The peak was when Jamie Rose comes over, all disappointed about her 4 fortune-cookies she had before. We have the solution and guaranteed her that they are all good, she tried again and bingo, more laughing away on her wise words "If we are to have magical bodies, we must have magical minds in bed" Now is no more hope, we're worthless, everything we heard we added in bed to it and that was it for the rest of the evening.
Waiting for dinner, then laugh to no end with fortunes ending in bed...
The evening program consists of more "New Voices" introduced by Nick Adamski, the liaison of Fran Quinn, then some amazing drumming by John de Kadt, a true master of rhythm, sound and words, go see him if you have a chance. Then a more serious performance by Coleman Barks accompanied by David Whetstone on Sitar and Marcus Wise on Tabla while I try to keep up with blogging, pictures and laughs in the Dinning Hall. And I have to get to bed before too late... because???
Lunar-moth is hanging out below the deck of the dinning-hall...

Yes, my alarm goes off at 3:25 am, and just as I turn it off Marcus is calling my name in the still dark cabin... what a trip. I have to give him a ride to the Portland Airport, his flight leaves at 7 am and Tina Holt scared him by telling him that there are a lot of people going through security. So off we go, an hour and fifteen minutes and we're there, it is now quarter to five and I'm driving back towards Camp Kieve. Get here just in time to eat some and then join the singing. Boy I'm so tired but this sure keeps me going. Breakfast was special today, a chef appeared from nowhere and cooked us custom ordered omelets, a treat for the ones that stayed in line for it.
The chef that appeared out of nowhere to make us omelets...
Paris is admiring her own performance, she is watching a video clip of her on stage!!!
Now, breakfast is over, I listened to our "New Voices" and now it's time to catch-up with some sleep. I do that until lunch, sleep like a baby, even though I hear people come in and out of the cabin, still, my lights are out.
A shower helps me to get back on my feet, then lunch and back onto the program of writing!
I'm spending way too much time in this Dinning Hall to write on the Blog...
Three Hugs and you're on to yesterdays Blog!!!
