What goes well with swimming in the pond is a sauna afterwards, then back into the lake, then sweat again, repeat until done.
It's great to be here again, the green landscape, the comfy house of Abbot and Sarah, and the closeness to everything. Even though the nearest town is Ashfield, that is a few miles away, everything seems to be complete. Abbot and I start the dinner, I prepare the ground-beef, mix in eggs, bread, spices, onions, garlic and give it a good mix'n. Abbot prepares the veggies while Sarah makes us some drinks, a feast in the making. Next thing is we're all having big old juicy burgers on our plates, music in the background and candles on the table, a perfect meal. Then washing dishes more talking and catching-up until Abbot and Sarah retire upstairs.
After dinner pondering and wondering...
Now it's my time to see how good this dish-network is. It works, I will spare the system from uploading my photos from the weekend through the dish, but I can do my e-mail, check out facebook and do my blogging, not bad for a place that is too far away from any point to get a hardwired system for a DSL. We're almost in the 21st century now. All day I've been hearing about the rain, when I get out to snuggle-up into my bed it is raining. The sound of the drops hitting the leaves is so soothing, love it! This is even better than camping. The sleeping situation here at the Cutler's is always special to me. With ust a few exceptions, like when I was here in January, I sleep out on the covered porch, that way I get the full outdoor experience with the indoor comfort.
Getting together in the kitchen, with a missing glass...
I sleep so good and the night is too short. I do manage to sleep until 9 again, I feel like a bum, but it is not a bad feeling at all. Abbot is working in the garden and Sarah is also taking it easy, trying to get over a little cold, poor girl!
So, what's on the program today... writing, pictures, blogging, staying dry, go to breakfast to Elmer's in Ashfield. I wrote about it in an earlier Blog when we all went there and it was snowing, today it is raining and might as well go there again. We all pile into Sarah's car and drive to Ashfield. After some back and forth I made up my mind what I should get. Another morning glory, home-fries, 2 sausages, 2 eggs over-easy, and the best pancakes. That should hold until we get back home again.
Breakfast at Elmer's...
Next thing I know is we're back home, Sarah busing herself with getting over her cold, what I'm trying to say is,that she is taking a nap. Abbot, the only productive member of this clan here, is slaving away in the garden and I'm falling asleep on the porch and dream about a 3 o'clock picture being taken... but it did not happen...
