The next adventure was in my local post-office, it is always a show to go there, local gossip, the characters, the lady working the window, and so on. The scenario this morning was a lady with a huge order of things she needed to mail, sounded like she runs some kind of a mail-order business, keep the lady behind the window busy with weighing and labeling and typing stuff into the keyboard, all while the customer is chatting away about her daughters wedding and what kind of cake she is gonna bake, brownie vs. red-velvet, and yes she used to bake wedding-cakes for such and such, it was going on for the longest time... I was there just enjoying this whole scene while in the meantime 2 other clients came into the post-office and all they heard was this lady japing away not realizing that she had this huge order to be processed and so they left a bit frustrated... It was pretty funny to watch this piece of america happen, all I needed was two stamps because of the mess I have at home I could not find the ones I already have.
Rich was next, I met him in his office were he is always rambling away about something that does not work or clients that bitch and not pay and and and... until we're finally off to the Chick-a-pea job...
Today I actually set the alarm to make it remebering me when it is 3 o'clock... and it worked... here is the shot.
The whole crew is doing something...
During the day it was raining a lot, then the sun was shining again and at one point of time there was also some lightning, a real unusual thing here in the Bay Area, and it looks like there be lots more to come, rain that is... Fill-up these reservoirs so we don't have a water-rationing this summer.

I thought to take this opportunity to capture the look of Shattuck Ave. north of University Ave. a lot of buildings have gone up in the last few years. These three pictures are taken right outside of the job we're working right now, cool ha???
Looking north, notice all the new buildings, don't even remember what it used to look like...
Then looking south towards University Ave. and downtown Berkeley... not much of a downtown from this view...

And all this while good old Triple Rock Brewery is right next to the place we're working... a real old hang-out from my earlier years.
