Yesterday after I got home from work Jhony was still here cleaning-up, I have to go back on all my other entries and change the painters name from Johnny to Jhony, sorry Johny... anyway, there he was just about ready to go home, the studio is finish and the bathroom has one coat of shocking yellow, I think it is good enough for one coat, after all the whole bathroom needs a real remodel at some point of time, not now, not soon!!! But the downstairs looks stunning, I'm actually surprised about the gray color, can't even see it as a gray, it has blue in it... or maybe it is the reflection of the blue masking-tape that is still on all over the place... but really, it looks real sharp, specially with the natural wood of the door-trim and the build in cabinets. It took him 66 hours to do all that work, I handed him a check and all of a sudden I started freaking out about money in my bank... how much do I really have... I haven't gotten paid by any of these jobs I'm doing this year, well one and one I'm still waiting on the check... have to look into that one too. So first thing in the morning is to go to the bank and check on status... also sign-up for on-line banking which I could not figure out on how to do it on-line...
Now I'm actually ready to really clean-up and start installing the details, lighting trim, shelfs, electrical receptacles and cover-plates, and also the vertical blinds have arrived and are ready to go up, designing a closet and other details. But... I did make a plan to go over to Elizabeth's house for dinner and help her with some iPhoto issues she has. It has ben a long time since we caught-up on life. I do see her once in a while at the yoga class and we have small talks about travels over the coffee at Sweet Adelaine but other than that...
It was great to see her new downstairs, all finished and livable, an inspiration for my future to have the same just a third of her size though. She cooked couscous and a lamb-tagine... it was delicious and we solved the computer issue too, then I was so tired I had to go home to bed.
I have another day filled with excitement, but first some Chai-Tea and granola with this new yogurt I just bough the other day at Berkeley Bowl. It comes in a glass jar and I can return it to get my $1.25 deposit back, it is made locally here in Sonoma County by Saint Benoit... I love it. Finally a way to reduce these plastic containers I've been collecting from the other yogurts.
I had to go to work at Tom's house, but before that I need to check with my Bank to see if I have to go to beg for money or not, then the glass-shelf are ready to be picked-up
Here I'm driving west on Dwight Way towards Martin Luther King Jr. Way...

As you can see, more rain happened and is on its way too. Ahh what a relieve I got once I walked out of the bank knowing that I'm in the clear and money is still in existence in my account, also now I'm set for going on-line for my future banking needs.
Driving along the Bay looking towards San Francisco with great clouds and rain...

Laner Electric is next, I was too thrilled to find out that there is a piece I need for my 4" recessed lights to use a MR-16 lamp that uses line-voltage and that way I can use a gimbal ring to point the lights up on the wall, I used Rich's account to buy the goods I need for my house, can't wait to get to it...
I was hoping to spend just a few hours at Tom's and be done with his job... but, as we all know things always take longer than anticipated and next thing was two thirty and I had to go to San Leandro to look at the size of the service for Diamond Manufacturing to come up with a plan on how to attack this job. That means I have to come back afterwards and keep on plugging away at Tom's.
Three o'clock and on-route to San Leandro, driving south on I-880 right before 66th St. exit traffic started to back-up...
