Here is the finished dinning-room...

Heading home and making plans to meet Juniper and her fiancee for dinner.
Big scrub-down to remove all that work-dirt and a shave was needed too.
Juniper and Mike come over to pick me up, also to see the progress on the house and then back to Indus Village for dinner once more!!!
Here at the Indus Village with the two "Lovebirds"...

Jump-start the morning with a delicious Chai Tea, before dropping off the Honda for another round of care-taking by Buntha, on my walk back home I pass a burned-out trailer, still smothering and a tiny bit of smoke rising out of the ruins, foam from the firefighters was still fresh and a small river of water still running down the gutter. Sure hope that whoever lived in that darn thing made it out alive, it burned down to the tires as the white trash would say in a trailer-park after they loose one of their homes to a fire.
Burned down trailer on Folger Ave.

Buntha and his brother n the office...

Then make plans with official visitors from the Big Apple. They are staying with friends who live a few blocks away from where I was working yesterday, another small world effect that is a strange thing sometimes, they live on Wood Ct. and my job was on Wood Dr.
Trying to figure out a way to meet and where, since I don't have a car at this moment, they got a ride from their friend to Ashby and College Ave.
As soon as I got into my billing state, which I'm way behind now, the phone rang and they where there and the next step was to meet at Rick & Ann's for a small breakfast. Always a good idea, and so I drove up there with my van, ran into Fritz and in the restaurant into Ann the owner, Both of them I haven't seen in a long time, ohh and of corse Sharon and Howard, the reason I went there. Great to see them again, the last time was in New York City, were I spend the night at their new apartment in Harlem.

From Sharon & Howard's visit to Berkeley |
After the meal we all squeezed into the van and I gave them a short ride to Telegraph Ave. to get a good flavor of Bezerkley while I went back home to drop-off the van and walk back to Buntha's shop to pick-up the Honda and meet Sharon and Howard again where I dropped them. I found Howard at Moe's, one of my favorite bookstore and I bought 2 copies of Kitchen confidential, one for Susan and one for Stuart, for myself I bought another book, edited by Anthony Bourdain, "The Best American Travel Writing".
A stroll through campus, a good look at the campanile and then coffee at Cafe Strada to celebrate the 3 o'clock properly with some coffee and a piece of cake!!!
Cafe Strade, one of my oldest hang-outs... here with Sharon while Howard is trying to find the bathroom...
