We went to Renee's on Solano Ave. for some chinese food, always a good place to get a good meal.
Dinner with Kathy...

After that Kathy dropped me off at home and also to see the progress made since she saw it last.
Stuart and Nancy were at home too, it was fun to tell them stories of wedding photography.
I had to get-up early in the morning, but could not stop reading kitchen adventures, I just love the way Anthony Bourdain writes.
I decided later in the morning procedure, to make Chai Tea, glad I did It kept me going all day.
I had to pick-up some hole-saws I ordered through Grainger, then I was ready to get this job done. But first I had to start... all worked really well. After I unloaded all my tools and materials, I needed, I started to move the chairs out of the room, then measure out the location of the 9 recessed light. Make sure there are no joists right where the lights go. Soon Armando, the plaster -guy, showed up with his guy to cover the floor and walls to protect them from evil me. And then William, the interior designer who got me this job, came to make sure we're on the same page.
Before...

Blast off, nine 4 3/8 of an inch holes for the lights, these metal-cutting hole-saws lasted only about 3 holes in plaster until they were dull, that's why I bought 4 of them and I still had one in the truck. Fishing the wires and making more holes to connect all the lights together. Armando started already with fixing the holes that I run my cables through.
A dusty place to work in...

I was lucky with the connection the switch, there was an existing hole already in the top-plate of the wall and so I just had to shove the Romex-cable down into the wall and fish-it into the new switch-box. A quick run to the chinese supply-house for the dimmers and cover-plates and while I wiring up the switch-boxes the clock was striking three...
Trying it as electrician again...
