Then after rearranging the furniture we had that, long waited and threaded for, costume party. You had to be a wild, wonderful, wacky, willful, whimsical, wired women. "Impersonate some female that you want all of us to know a little better...!!!" was written on the invite. I think these people have too much time on their hands to come up with something like that. My attempt was to be Diana Ross... I might have dressed just like her... yeah right!!! With my wild afro-wig... I might have just look like her too... think again!!! And I did not do my homework to make up her life-story so the other people could guess who I was... basically I failed the whole thing... but fun it was anyway and the next time I'll do a better job,I promise!!!
The party went on way too late and so in the morning things were slow moving... Tim and Laura created the brunch with lots of entertainment, still wound up form last nights cross-dressing.
Before that I went on another morning hike, another blue sky day and a thermometer who showed me -21°F. Apparently it was even colder than that, one reported -24° earlier this morning!!!
For Bonnie and me was packing time, I returned the rental skis and boots and went on my last hike. Going up to the highest spot was my goal. The ol' Baldy provided that. A great hike through the land of snow and ice, previous snowshoers paved a good path for me and I enjoyed the view from up there.
Back in time for my 3 o'clock adventures, a good cup of coffee, this time with real heavy whip, some to snack on and talks with my new friends I made this weekend.
