"How did I end up in this place again???" I was asking myself, after all the time I was here in June Bonnie introduced me to this wonderful restaurant where we met with Geoffrey for brunch. Well this time I made plans to meet with Jim Lenfestey. So I went to his house to see where he lives and then he recommended this great restaurant for lunch just a few blocks away from his house where we should eat. So we sit in his car and drive here just to find out that I know this place already... ohh well, it is a great place I must say and the lunch was excellent. I know Jim since a few years now when I met him at the GMC in 2007. We started to have some great talks together and this continued here at this lunch place. The topics are: His relationship to his kids(4) as a father and my relationship I have with my father.
He left some time before my 3 o'clock time-stamp and so I'm sitting here by myself, catching up with e-mail and writing out my notes into the computer... also pondering over how I'm gonna get my boots back...

Leaving Camp du Nord at around 4 pm yesterday, loading up the car with all this stuff that 2 people needed for these few days up here, to head back for the twin cities. I was wearing my Keens and did not bother to remember loading my boots too. So off we went. We stopped in this little town of Cloquet, right before hitting I-35, where a Frank Lloyd Wright designed gas-station exists. But the building was not what I expected and so Bonnie drove straight to the local Mexican Restaurant in that town and we had a bit to eat. What are these mexicans doing here in the freezer section of this nation??? But the food was good, the people were friendly and the place was heated like a beach-town south of the border!!!
Then in the morning when I readied myself to go to meet Jim I realized that I forgot my boots at the cabin... what now??? Well the hope is that the last one leaving the place notices my boots and takes them along... so we just had to find out who that would be. Bonnie got right on the phone to start leaving messages to find that out. Lets hope for the best...
