After the small feast that the Foreigner on Main Street in Fredericksburg, Sharon and I walk back to her house to start dinner, a serious effort is about to happen, all the goods are ready for margaritas a la René, and Sharon has all her duck in a row for her most delicious Enchiladas. Two kinds it will be, one for the adults, the one with roasted vegetables and the one for the kids just with cheese... but I had to have both of them. Later Judy joined us and 2 other couples I can't remember their names right now, hopefully Sharon will write me later and update me on it. Back to the dinner, the Margaritas and the Enchiladas were a hit, all happy and stuffed, we went our ways. Sharon Judy and I went to Judy's neighbors, a really cool couple that moved from New Orleans to Fredericksburg after Katrina in 2005. They moved into a house that reminded me much of a New Orleans kind of a place, tall ceilings, lots of open space and art form Louisiana, a real treat to visit them. The brownies just got out if the oven, the coffee was brewed and served with all kids of different liquors, boy was that a great visit. And the commute back to the house I was staying was reasonable too, cross the street and through Judy's yard, can't beat that.
I forgot to mention the shopping spree at Wallmart... I was hoping nobody is watching me but all the other stores were closed, so don't blame me...
Sharon the queen of making Enchiladas...

In the morning I brew Chai Tea for everybody, eat some breakfast, hung around the house, fixed a few things and tried to get some writing done. Easier said than done. Sharon brought the best baked goods form the german bakery in town and all is well.
Here is the place I stayed at Judy's...

The it was time for another outing, this time Sharon and I drive to explore a place where a bat-colony lives. It is in an abandoned railway-tunnel in Alamo Springs, but the real reason we went there was because there is a great little cafe that serves the best burgers in the Hill Country... lets go and test it out.
Burgers and Veggie Sandwich at Alamo Spring's Cafe, were anybody is nobody... even at 3 o'clock...
