Good Lunch... Great Sunshine...

Not knowing how it really happen but I ended-up with a headache by the evening... felt all tense and stiff and I blame it on Saturdays yoga-class... a hot-tub would be nice. Even nicer was the massage I got from Susan after a delicious dinner with the food she bought at the farmer market in San Rafael. Baked salmon, steamed broccoli, roasted potatoes, fresh salad and best company... well it can't get much better, right???
Still this headache ruined the mood and I went home early to get some rest... when I checked my e-mail I got the update on the job for today that Nancy won't be back until noon and so I can sleep in... I'm still exhausted from all the events in the last few weeks and in need for more rest.
I was at Nancy's house by 12 noon, set up the tools and prepared for the work I had to do. Last year I upgraded their electrical service entrance to a 150 Amp. Then it passed inspection by the city and PG&E was supposed to come by to make the final connection to the new service. But they didn't because I didn't make the service-point hight enough, code requires a minimum of a 12 feet clearance to the ground and the way I did it was not even 10 feet, even though I made it higher than the existing service, but no. So today was the day that the sun is shining and I have no excuses of getting it done right.
I packed-up my tools, cleaned the job-site and was out of there at 2 pm... just in time to get home, warm up some lunch, sit in the sun and wait for 3 o'clock to come by...

Driving to work on a blue sky day...

Two hours of work for a 2 foot higher service drop...

Driving back home to fill up the gas-tank at a cheap station in El Sobrante...

Lunch at 3 o'clock with Scooby on the back-steps...

And what about Me???

My photo
Berkeley, California, United States
My life as a vagabond in the last few years got me to some amazing places, met great people and have lots of stories to share. I love exploring, travel, biking, dancing to Zydeco music, hanging out with friends, biking and many other things to keep me in trouble... best is when I can combine a few of these things together!!! Then there is the photography, writing and might as well do some cooking too, after all eating is another of my favorite thing!!!
