Another Friday the 13th...

Last night was a time were I felt that I might get a cold... I immediately pounded a few 1000 mg vitamin C and a cup of that hot brew of lemon, ginger and cayenne pepper I made for Stuart the other day. Before that I went out with Anneliese to have a bit to eat and catch-up on life. We met at Filippo's on College Ave. I like that place and the food is very good and affordable. We split some Grilled Polenta y Verdura, a Mixed Green Salad and for the main-dish, Annelise had the Gemelli con Carciofo and I had Spaghetti & Meatballs, we both had a glass of white wine, and lots of talking... that's when I all of a sudden felt week and a cold creeping up... I went there with my bike and so biking back was actually good, going real strong and got a little sweaty. I was glad to lay down and get a good rest... Almost managed to finish my book, but my eyes failed me once again!!!
At nine in the morning I met Rich, yes that guy again, just like last Friday, but this time we went back to the Chick-peas restaurant in Berkeley. Still more wiring to do. most of the sheet-rock has been completed and the place is taking on some shape. I got to wire-up the control-panel for the lighting and the circuit-breaker box. Added more CAT-5 wiring to a P.O.S. (Point of Sale) station and another outlet for the office.
Then it was lunch-time and we walked a couple of blocks to Cafe Gratitude . A very delicious place to eat, healthy all the way, a bit on the pricey side and it was my turn to pay too so it really hurt... NOT!!!
By the time we were back at the job-site it was about time to take a few 3 o'clock pictures...

And what about Me???

My photo
Berkeley, California, United States
My life as a vagabond in the last few years got me to some amazing places, met great people and have lots of stories to share. I love exploring, travel, biking, dancing to Zydeco music, hanging out with friends, biking and many other things to keep me in trouble... best is when I can combine a few of these things together!!! Then there is the photography, writing and might as well do some cooking too, after all eating is another of my favorite thing!!!
