Pit-stop in Las Vegas...

It was sad to say good-bye to Abbot but it had to be done. Sarah drove me to John and Mila's house in Amherst via a quick stop at Elmer's for a latte to go. It's almost an hour drive, it was very cold this morning, the ice on the windshield took a long time to disappear and some roads have not been completely cleared of the last snow-storm. But blue skies and the new coating of snow improved the beauty.
A short panic about how to get to their house but all worked well as we crawled up the steep and rotten driveway. Mila greeted us with their new german shepherd, Malon was all excited too to make a new friend while hanging out, but unfortunately he had to wait inside the car. Once inside I could see the breakfast table all laid out for action. Right then John was driving up the driveway too and after a short catching-up we were eating a delicious meal with beagles, cereals and lots of fresh fruits.

Then it was time to bid a farewell to Sarah, I'll be back in May, are my words...
John gives me a ride back to Bradley International airport in Hartford, CT. On the way there we drop Mila off for her class in North Haddley and next thing is I'm back at an airport terminal waiting for my flight to Las Vegas. I bought a chicken-vegetable wrap, water and a sweet thing to consume during my 4 hour plus flight.

From Flying out of Hartford, CT

For some reason I couldn't stop taking pictures out of the little window, the landscape under me looked fascinating, the change from the snow-land to barren dessert drained the batteries in my camera, just as we came neat the Hoover-dam. Click on the "Fly out of Hartford, CT" and look at some of the pictures I uploaded.
We had a good tailwind and so we landed almost 20 minutes earlier then scheduled... here I am at a recharge station in terminal C and write my story of today. Here it is 77°F and sunny, and I have all these clothe hanging on me, it's way too hot!!!
I should be landing in Oakland at 6:20 and Rich better be there to get my ass back home... Scooby is missing me!!!

And what about Me???

My photo
Berkeley, California, United States
My life as a vagabond in the last few years got me to some amazing places, met great people and have lots of stories to share. I love exploring, travel, biking, dancing to Zydeco music, hanging out with friends, biking and many other things to keep me in trouble... best is when I can combine a few of these things together!!! Then there is the photography, writing and might as well do some cooking too, after all eating is another of my favorite thing!!!
