Instead I had to go back to Home Depot... I just hate that place... return the lock-sets I bought and the hot-water-heater drip-pan... then I needed some more sawhorses and another hole-saw for the new recessed lights. After that Kelly Moore for all my paint solutions, I have to find the right stuff to put on all the new wood to keep it looking new. I had to listen for a long speech of this guy about all the different products. Then when I finally made up my mind on what to get he had to answer the ringing phone and got stuck with a stupid customer who had all these questions he answered over and over and what seemed hours of him trying to be friendly and helpful... while I'm standing there trying to pay for the stuff, and he finally hung-up on the guy!!!
Finally back at the ranch... Since yesterday I've been searching my house in every nock and cranny to find my battery-charger for the Makita batteries... I need to use my cool right-angle drill to drill 5 mm holes into the new CD rack so I can plug in the pegs to hold the shelfs, but no luck until I had a chance to ask Rich, he has one and also he has the 2 1/4" hole-saw I just bought from Home Depot, say, now I can go and return that item too. saving myself 13 dollars...
Back on being positive... things are looking very good, Victor is now working on the book-shelf unit that gets builds into the wall where the water-heater used to be. What a nice feeling of not seeing that dang tank there any longer, instead a nice build-in unit for books and things. Also two Boxes be build for the stereo equipment, so I can hide that stuff under the floor of the kitchen and safe the space for other things.
At some point Tom comes by for a visit and to pick-up stuff for the wiring he does at his house, right after he leaves Susan is appearing and almost at the same time Rich and Oso... next thing I have a full yard, and get majorly distracted by homemade brownies Susan made for our 3 o'clock coffee... which is about to happen soon. Rich brought me the charger and a battery for the special drilling we have to do for the pegs for the shelfs and also the 2 1/4" hole-saw, things are looking up again!!!
