I know these flowers are way too early, but hey here they are...
Further progress in the labor camp with Rich Flowers Inc. First thing in the morning, we added more Radio RA gadgets to the existing lighting system at the 688 Alverado Project. One more dimmer for an outside light and a 5 button control station next to the bed, I love that system, very easy to work with, installation, programing and the satisfied client at the end... the money that stuff costs is a negative factor but sure beats to tear the walls open and trying to do it the conventional way.
After that we went to the next site, the continuation of the Chick a Pea. I had to eat some lunch first before I could get a straight thought on what to do here next... off I went to this Brazil Fresh Squeeze Cafe on University at the corner of Walnut St. for a delicious Try-Tip sandwich, it is only the second time that I eat there... but I should go there more often, good food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices, the guy really tries to get a Brazilian theme going and if the weather will ever be even close to Copa Cabanna then there might be hope that he achieved it too.
More food stories... yesterday after work I met with Stuart at Wally's Cafe, hidden behind a old bank-building on San Pablo Ave. in Emeryville. He told me a while ago that we should go there and last night was finally it!!! While slurping a hot lentil-soup while waiting for the Gyros with french-fries we watched Wally teach his assistant how to make baklava from scratch... Another great place to put on my food map...
Now back to the working world... Rich and I packed-up our stuff right at 3 and split to go our ways until the next time... I had a 4 o'clock appointment for teeth-cleaning at Dr. DiRocco's office, but first I need a cup of coffee to make it there...

View from my parked van on Berkeley Way looking towards Shattuck Ave.
