But before REI were a few things worth mentioning like how the rest of the day went yesterday. I promised to give Jutta a ride back to Lafayette, and so I did. But first I had to drive to Sunnyvale where she was dropping of her friends car, thats 50 Miles from my house, then driving around in the South Bay is not my favorite thing, I always feel lost or I'm in Los Angeles, the only difference is another 350 miles further south... not now, though!!! We ate some okay food at Chilly's and then cruised to Lafayette with no traffic... ohh well by that time it was almost 10, ah, that explains the no traffic situation for the next 60 miles. After leaving that girl there it was getting home a.s.a.p. to get to bed to be up early and battle some real traffic to get to the city.
I wished I could have pulled over this morning as I was driving across the Bay Bridge at 7. The top part of the bridge was just above the low fog, the sky peaked through in a metallic blue and the first sun-rays were hitting the downtown of San Francisco, just too good!!!
I had a small job for Conrad Imports and finished it by quarter to one, had lunch at the chinese restaurant right at the corner and headed right back to the East Bay to get to REI...

REI in Berkeley, one of my favorite stores to spend money...
