The return from SFO, is the word today... I just walked into the door when the clock strikes 3. At noon I picked-up Jutta in Lafayette with 2 enormous pieces of luggage and a carry on deal. That girl must have shopped like there is no tomorrow and cranked-up the local economy to survive another 20 minutes longer. "It's all those things you can't get cheap in Basel" is the excuse, "we don't have Dollar Stores and cheap outlets like here" is the reasoning!!! Of corse there are no Dollar Stores in Switzerland because they don't have dollars there, maybe they could call it a "Stützli Lade" were everything is 1 SFR, who knows somebody might come up with it.
So, back to getting to SFO, I load these economy-stimulus packages into my car and off we go, dodging some traffic on the 24/580 intersection by going via W. Grand Ave. to the Bay Bridge. We get to the airport just as planed at 1:30. I help her with the check-in and it got a whee bit closer to me of what I have to go through in about a year...
