Deep in Space...

What a relaxed Sunday it is so far, I haven't felt rested like that for a long time. Susan is coming over soon and then we;re going for a walk and maybe have dinner at Kirks in Lafayette. I got another phone-call and it was from Mr. Daniel, he is back in the US for some time and he is staying at Kirk's for the time being, would love to get to see him.
I show Susan the newly opened Berkeley Bowl West, she is impressed too, I need to buy some green Cardamon Seeds for my Chai Tea. We found that they have it in bulk, it is 28.- $/Lb, I get a hand full and costs me $1.69, for about the same amount in the glass-jar by a spice company costs 10.50 or so. So what a bargain. We also buy a pound of Cherries as snack for the road, hike down to Aquatic Park. On the way back we stop at Vic's I wasn't sure how long they are open, but the doors are still open and so we go in to see how much Cardamon costs here. It's 11.- $/Lb and I also get to talk to Vic himself. He tells me that all the indian spices that Berkeley Bowl sells are from him, some good info that is.



Crossing the Pedestrian Overpass of 80/580 we see a car on fire on the East bound side...

The firedepartment just arrived and started to get controll over the fire!!!

Further things happen on our adventure, we found a big piece of half inch thick tempered glass leaning against one of the warehouses in my neighborhood, we took some measurements by hight and width to see if it could serve as a table in my place. It is about 8 ft long by about 18 in. Lets go home and check it out, and if it works come back with the car to pick it up, it is really heavy, I had a hard time lifting it by myself.
And it has a place, we get the glass and then figure out some dinner with the fresh Vegetables and Salads Susan brought over.

Monday July 13th... Happy Birthday Harry, thanks for the fun time in Seeley!!!

Today is work on the list... on top of the list is the San Anselmo job, I just got it approved and I already got payed for by Jan Gunn. So off I go, a 40 minute drive to get there in my old van. I start at 9 and figure out the underbelly of this place here, from crawl-space to the attic and whatever is in between. I break early for lunch and walk over to the Deli at the Maine Street, get myself a sandwich and sit at front and watch traffic and people. Then back to work...

At 3 I get caught way deep in the crawl-space...

a no fun situation, but somebody got to go and do it!!!
