But not for too long, I do wanna enjoy the company I'm having right now, soon we're all off again in different directions. So, back onto the bar by the kitchen and get some work done on the computer, now I have even more pictures and more stories, how can I even catch-up whit this blog???
I'm not even finished with the Conference in Maine, boy ohh boy, where has this world come to???
For dinner we warm-up the two Pasties, I brought along from my adventures in Michigan's UP (Upper Peninsula) , where I stopped in Munising at the Muldoon's Pastie Shop, one with Chicken and one with Vegetable. While Harry is busy making each of us a Margarita, his recipe varies from mine, but also made from fresh ingredients. I have to double check with him, but I think he uses 2 shots of premium Tequila, one shot fresh Lime-juice and a good squirt of Agave-juice, and something else too... besides his magic.
With the 2 Pasties cut into 4 pieces each, and a Margarita in hand, we're having a big bowl of Salad. That's better than being in a Restaurant and so we're happily chewing away. No more Apple-pie left for a desert, but we'll attack some of the Ice-cream and are full forever...
The two are retiring to bed, and since I had a delicious nap earlier, I can work on the computer for another couple of hours. It's pretty late by the time I start listening to the pillow.
Monday, June 15th... time to start a more serious life!!!
Getting out of bed early, the sun is shining into the room from about 6 on and so I wake-up and are full of ideas of what to do today, up I get, brush some of my teeth, rinse my face with cold water, make my hair wet so I can work with it, apply some Neosporin to my fried crotch, I hope you read the previous days to understand what I'm taking about, then get dressed and show my face downstairs.
Carolyn is still in bed, while Harry is farting around somewhere doing something, he has to go to a meeting and have breakfast somewhere, and will be back later. So I make one of my specialty Omelets for breakfast, with all kinds of left-overs to help emptying the fridge, I love making these things.
Breakfast with Carolyn, while Harry is out there with the "bad" boys of the hood...

A delicious Omelet helps to get rid of a few things in the refrigerator!!!
Both of them have to go back to Madison and claim their regular life back. They offered me to stay longer and I highly appreciate that, I could use some eventless days working on my blog, instead of having too much fun out there.
More confusion is added by signs...
Before we all split, we have to get ready for yet another bike-ride, kind of like a farewell-ride, more fire-roads, ATV-trails (All Terrain Vehicle) to get to some serious single-track and then back, 2 hours later, all sweaty and more exhausted than before, but happy and satisfied!!!
A long bike-ride to complete my time with C&H...
And the grand finale is...
It has been an exceptionally good ride!!!
A quick shower, making lunch for all of us and then get ready for the sad good-bye!!! To ensure everyones safety I brew a Turkish Coffee for all of us, just like at Camp Kieve not too long ago. To add more to it I whip out the bottle of Jack Daniel's and now we're all happy and awake!!!
Chris, the neighbor, builder, gardener, and most important of all, the Apple-pie maker, is showing up to do some more painting in the garage, unfortunately he forgot to bring another fresh backed pie over... well, maybe next time.
By now it's 3 o'clock, lunch is served and Chris is painting away...
The farewell happens right after that!!!
