A sunny day at Union Square...

At around four I get the call from Tracy, I was waiting for, she and her boyfriend just finished work and are heading to Washington Park to meet with me. I was not entirely convinced that I know where Washington Square Park is, but I had the feeling that it is further towards downtown on Broadway. I start walking south on Broadway, on my way I ask a guy, he told me that he does not know where it is, then another guy who was walking in the same direction and he pointed in the direction we're walking, it's way ahead, you'll see it... okay then, I'm doing fine, and keep on walking.
Passing lots of great places, lots of people and covering lots of territory...
During all this walking I'm having the greatest conversation on the phone with Christoph who calls me from Schaffhausen, in Switzerland, we're making plans for his trip with Ina in August and talk about all kinds of things to catch-up on our lives, he is one of my official followers and knows what I'm up to, but I never really knows what trouble he is in and so we caught-up on that, in the mean time I was totally wondering where in the hell Washington Square is, still walking south on Broadway. When I finish the call with him I'm almost down at City Hall, here I ask another person and she is pointing right there at that park, the Thomas Pine Park. I call Tracy to figure out where the hell I'm at in Manhattan... She is breaking the bad news to me in a real gentile, just walk back on Broadway and make a left at 3rd Street, call me again when you're there. Ohh boy that is a long way back.
I finally meet Tracy and Patrick at the Shade Bar on West 3rd Street and Sullivan Street in the Greenwich Village
I tell you, these two are a lot of fun... and they can drink!!!
Drinks followed by Falafels for dinner just around the corner, according to Tracy & Patrick, this is the BEST...
After all this drinking, eating, and laughing we split, the two went back to New Jersey and I walked back to Grand Central Station, via Washington Square, to Union Square, along Broadway through Madison Square, and Park Ave., to take the train back to Tuckahoe.
Love to walk in NY during the time of twilight...
Walking North on Broadway, Empire State Building in the background, then crossing through Madison Square Garden!!!
Grand Central Station, a busy place 24 hours...
I catch the 9 o'clock train to be in Tuckahoe at 9:29, leaving on track 30!!!
I get back to Vicky's place, she is not back from the movies yet and so I get some more work done on the computer. From the time she gets back until she goes to bed we hang out and talk about the day, after that more work to do on this blog until I can't keep my eyes open any longer.
I sleep until 9, then breakfast, and I have to do some laundry, my dirty cloth are piling up and I have to get ready for the next round of adventures. During that time I keep myself busy on the computer with editing pictures and finding words for all the things that happen to me.
For lunch a warm-up the leftovers from Monday night's dinner with Howard and Sharon and even though it is not quite 3 o'clock I have to make myself a good cup of coffee...
Another 3 o'clock... another time in Vicky's office...
