The 50th Day... the 50th Entry in 2009

Last night outing to yet another Home Depo got me the closet doors, matching with the other new doors to the bathroom and storage, but the once for the closet need to be a tad bigger, I needed to get 32" doors and the selection at the Emeryville store looked pretty sad so I went to the El Cerrito one, also bought a pre-hung door for the new utility-closet but I'm not so sure if I'll use it yet.
Victor showed his face way early this morning, I not even had a chance to finish breakfast... was pilling my recyclables outside and wanted to check e-mail 'n stuff... Alright then lets get started... Victor attacked the jamb for the small closet and then the big one, this one is having the sliding-doors with the pretty fancy hardware... while I was attacking the water-heater that needed to move into the utility room under the stairs... if I'm lucky I have a hot-shower by the end of today. I had to go to Easter Supply twice before it was even 3 o'clock, reroute the gas-line, flue and sheet-rock the little I could not do some weeks ago because the temporary water-supply was in the way, more parts than a car... while Victor finished the doors and is now working on the caps for the walls, kind of like the interior window-sill that extend the whole length of the wall. And all this is done in this Marine-grade plywood we bought yesterday... it looks better than I thought!!!!
In the meantime... I do wish to be down in Louisiana fro the upcoming Mardi Grass, tonight we're all supposed to get together at Rock'n Bowl to start the wild time until Tuesday... But!!!
