The first job I wanted to go to in the morning turned out to be later... okay, so I go there around 10:30 to look at Nancy & Paul's project, I installed a new service last year and PG&E still hasn't connected the new power yet. Even though I matched the old service hight they now require a minimum of 12ft clearance for their service-cables. That means that I have to replace the riser-conduit and the wires too, the whole thing is short by not even 2 ft, what a bummer. Back home to take care of my skin problem, right leg is swollen and does not look good at all. I try to keep it raised and I should ice it too. I decided to have a dose of grease for lunch, burger and fries is it, I go to Nations Giant Burgers and pig-out before seeing John and Eileen to figure out how to fix the path-lighting at their house.
Thats where I was a 3, taking apart some of the existing lights to find out that there is no more power to them. Also junction-boxes seem to be buried and who knows in what condition all this stuff is, se we're trying to figure out a way to light-up the path in a different way. But that will all happen when I'm back from the cold...
Temperatures in Ely, Minnesota tonight: High 17°F, Low -1°F...
I better figure out what to bring to this adventure!!!
