The third day...

As every Saturday morning, when I'm in town, is Yoga... and most of the times it is difficult to get up in the morning because of being out late the night before, dancing to Zydeco music at the Eagles Hall in Alameda. Dwight Carrier was playing together wit the Zydeco Magic, the local guys, for me there were too many slow songs but it was great to hear a different voice and the best part was that Donna was not there. Even though Lynda, who is her loyal friend, came up to me, all smile, and ask me for a dance with her. The scene Donna made a week ago was just the very bottom of things...
So, the yoga class was working me to the ground... but I guess I need it!!! Then a bit to eat at the Vulcan Cafe since Sweet Adelaine was still closed, I guess they don't need the business that bad that they can be closed for a week. The usual suspects came for breakfast, and I was glad to order something other that that sweet stuff I usually get at the other place.
I called PeiPei t see what they are up to and she forced me to meet them for breakfast at Cafe M on 5th street, I was easily persuaded to meet them there right away, peddle like a bat out of hell to get there. Always fun to see them, but I could not join in with the eating part... I was stuffed from the previous breakfast a half hour ago, I just ordered a Chai Tea, or do they called it a Chai Latte??? See how theirs tastes compared to the one I make in the morning.
Now at 3 today I was biking around to get some party food for tonight's gathering for Jutta at Sandy's house. I thought of many things to make. One was to do a test for a Frittata but I decided against cooking and just buy something. Now that's why I'm at Trader Joe's for ideas of what to buy and when I get out I'll take a photo of where I'm at. The task is not easy and I could not come up with anything creative. Maybe I have to go to Berkeley Bowl and look there for some... I did forget to take the photo outside of Trader Joe's and took one later on my way home riding through Emeryville.

Biking north on Shelmound Ave. in Emeryville, CA

And what about Me???

My photo
Berkeley, California, United States
My life as a vagabond in the last few years got me to some amazing places, met great people and have lots of stories to share. I love exploring, travel, biking, dancing to Zydeco music, hanging out with friends, biking and many other things to keep me in trouble... best is when I can combine a few of these things together!!! Then there is the photography, writing and might as well do some cooking too, after all eating is another of my favorite thing!!!
