Todays program sounded very simple, get up, eat breakfast and then lets go skiing. Sounded all good to me and off we went.
The Berkshire East, or "The Beast" as the locals call it, was about a 25 minute drive from Abbot and Sarah's house. We stopped in Ashfield to get a egg and bacon sandwich for the road. At the place I had to rent some skis, 30 dollars, Abbot & Sarah payed my day-pass also 30 Dollars and we met a old friend of theirs, Roger.
The skiing was fun, no lift-lines and lots fast downhill runs, nothing beast-like at all. The weather changed from overcast to sunny back to overcast and always cold. Warming up with a hot coco and later with lunch we brought from home. It was 3 when we were on our way back home, driving through a snowed in scenery and all excited about firing-up the sauna...
