Already forgotten...

What happen today... totally forgot about the 3 o'clock deal I have with myself... having a serious lazy day, one that never really started. Waking up before the alarm and too unmotivated to face the day, and by the time the alarm went off I already made up my mind that I'll stay in bed and sleep things out... I eventually did get up and made myself some tea and some to eat ad then tinkering around on the computer to read some depressing news and anything else to keep me away from what I really have to do. The big thing is that I don't plan my day in advance and when the day is here I don't know what to do.
Later in the day, after eating a big lunch, warmed-up leftover from last nights dinner with Jutta, I did go back to bed to read my book, escaping into Afghanistan and dream about traveling like Colin Thubron does... but also freaking out about my own financial disaster ahead... about the renting out of a room once Renee moves out and what mistake it was to respond to that strange e-mail I got yesterday and how this Mary from Africa could abuse my e-mail system... I think best is to ignore it from now on... here is here e-mail she send me:
Hello
thanks for getting back to me,how are you today?i will like to let you know am interested in renting the spot from you....Below are just some few things you might want to know about me:am straight, easy going and pretty laid back 28yrs old female....i do not smoke nor drink,am a christian but am not fanatical about my religion as i have always learnt to respect others religion/belief.Sometimes i love going to the beach at my leisure time to observe the wonders of nature,i work for an investment company here in west africa and coming to US cos the company i work for here is looking to open business correspondence in the US,this is my first visit to US and i do really hope to find a good place like yours to live in,if you can reseve the place for me i will surely appreciate that,i know there are several people interested in renting the place from you so am willing to make arrangement for some sort of deposit even with the first month rent so that will show commitment from my part,And just for you to know that this trip will be sponsored by my employer and every expenses as regards the rent and utilities will be paid in full so you have nothing to worry about as to whether i will be able to pay rent or not,pls be aware that my trip to US is fast approaching and i will appreciate if you get back to me asap to know how we can
work things out.
regards
mary

So I think at 3 o'clock today I was in dreamland instead of being out making money and getting jobs done... I promise myself to do a better job tomorrow. I have to meet Rich back at the Alverado Job to add more dimmers to that system and program them in... then I could go to see Tom's project or go to the other Piedmond job I have lined-up.
Lets hope for the best... now it is almost time to go to Yoga!!!

And what about Me???

My photo
Berkeley, California, United States
My life as a vagabond in the last few years got me to some amazing places, met great people and have lots of stories to share. I love exploring, travel, biking, dancing to Zydeco music, hanging out with friends, biking and many other things to keep me in trouble... best is when I can combine a few of these things together!!! Then there is the photography, writing and might as well do some cooking too, after all eating is another of my favorite thing!!!
